Super Bowl Ads and Sex Appeal (video)

[smartads]

The age old marketing mantra, “sex sells” was even more obvious this Sunday at the 2010 Super Bowl. As Youtube uploaded all the Super Bowl Ads as soon as they aired Sunday, one wouldn’t help but notice a common trend among many of the ads – Sex Appeal. GoDaddy generated a huge buzz from its “Too Hot for TV” campaign last year, so it couldn’t help the temptation of producing a similar shirt-rip-off stunt again this year. “If it works, then you should repeat” must be the rational behind this year’s ads for many of the advertisers.

Here are my Top Five picks: Which are yours?

VIZIO: Beyonce

Motorola: Megan Fox

Doritos: House Rules

GoDaddy: Breaking News

Google: Parisian Love
