Google+ hit the bull’s eye with circles – a noble concept of information sharing across a set of people. Circles are used for information sharing on the golden principle of Share information with whom it matters
From a PR perspective, agencies can tap into circles to get targeted audiences. You are no longer passing information to the uninterested friends and followers.
2) Hangouts
Nothing can beat face to face video when it comes to PR. However, I believe Google should open up Hangouts to feature more than 10 simultaneous participants. Once that limitation is removed, I think Hangouts will serve as an invaluable PR tool. IMO, Hangouts have the potential to replace podcasts and video press releases in the long term.
3) Public yet Private
Google+ is all about making a public identity. You only post what is important to you, and you don’t really care how others react to it. This is how PR works. In contrast, Facebook walls often end up as a place for public bashing rather than public relations. Of course, there’s a way to work around this on Facebook as well – you can disable wall posts but then that defeats the whole purpose of using Facebook.

Once Google+ taps into these and other channels, I would expect its PR appeal to multiply manifold.
5) Mobile
Mobile is considered a vital part of modern PR strategies. Google+ mobile apps are already available for iPhone, Android and other leading mobile platforms.
